Dentistry in Westfield, NJ

Care for every member of the family.

Comprehensive treatment planning, with restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve your optimal dental health. Prevention comes first.

Preventive Care

Regular exams, cleanings and x-rays, with fluoride and sealants where they help. The Academy of General Dentistry recommends a check-up twice a year.

  • Dental Cleanings
  • Dental Exams & X-Rays
  • Oral Cancer Screening
  • Sealants

Gum Health

Gum disease is usually painless early on, which is why it is checked at every exam. Caught before it is advanced, a scaling and root planing cleaning helps the gums heal.

Worth knowing before you come in.

Sealants for children

Recommended around age 6 or 7 for the first permanent molars, and around 12 for the second. Painted on and set with a light, with no drilling and no anesthetic.

X-rays when needed

Diagnostic x-rays find what a visual exam cannot, between the teeth and below the gums. They are typically taken every 12 months, or as necessary.

Whitening, two ways

In the office, where the color change usually takes about an hour, or with a professionally dispensed take-home kit and trays to use at home.

Implants, finished here

A trusted local specialist places the implant. Once it has healed, the crown, bridge or overdenture on top is made and fitted in our office.

New patients

Easy to get to, easy to fit in.

A modern, spacious office with no stairs to climb, open late two evenings a week and on Saturday mornings.

Insurance

All dental insurances accepted, and the practice participates with Delta Dental. Questions about your plan? Call and ask.

Emergencies

Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to care for you as soon as possible. Call the office rather than waiting.

Access and parking

An ADA compliant office with on-site accessible parking for everyone, at the corner of Euclid and Hillcrest with frontage on North Avenue.

In the community

Teaching Westfield’s kids to love their teeth.

Common questions

What patients ask us most.

Do you take my insurance?

All dental insurances are accepted, and the practice participates with Delta Dental. If you have a question about your plan, call the office and ask.

Do you have evening or Saturday appointments?

Yes. The office is open into the evening on Mondays and Tuesdays and on Saturday mornings. Hours are listed below; please call to confirm before your visit.

What if I have a dental emergency?

Call the office on (908) 232-4400. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to care for you as soon as possible.

Is the office accessible, and where do I park?

The office is at 501 Hillcrest Avenue, at the corner of Euclid and Hillcrest with frontage on North Avenue. It is ADA compliant, with no stairs to climb, and there is on-site accessible parking for everyone.

How often should I visit the dentist?

At least twice a year. A dental exam can reveal early signs of decay and disease that you may not see or feel, and a professional cleaning removes plaque from the places you may have missed or cannot reach.

What are the signs of gum disease?

Gums that bleed while brushing, red, swollen or tender gums, gums that have pulled away from the teeth, bad breath that does not go away, loose teeth, or a change in the way your teeth fit together. If you notice any of these, call us.

How do you keep the office safe and clean?

Each operatory is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly after every patient and rechecked before the next is seated. There are medical grade HEPA air purifiers in each patient room and throughout the office, and the office is disinfected every night.
